State of Kansas – Clearwater Schools

Clearwater Schools in the Wichita, Kansas area partnered with C&C Group Energy Services to modernize their entire district-wide building control system without any upfront capital investment. Through a comprehensive controls replacement delivered by our energy services team, the district eliminated aging, inefficient infrastructure and optimized HVAC performance across all facilities.

The project was structured under our shared savings program, allowing Clearwater Schools to fund the improvements entirely through guaranteed energy savings while also receiving revenue back over the life of the agreement. As a result, the district reduced natural gas and overall utility expenses by 44%, improved system reliability and visibility for staff, and achieved long-term operational savings—proving that large-scale infrastructure upgrades can be accomplished with zero capital cost and immediate financial impact.
